We are Family

I just love it when a big family gets together for a family photo! It is always fun getting everyone to look in the same direction and smile, but when you somewhat pull it off, it is all worth it.

Nicole and I use to work together and try and stay in contact. We are not as good at that part as we would like. But family photos at the park was as good of reason as any to get together. Nicole had family in from all over for a get together. There were Mom and Dad, Aunts and Uncles, and cousins. It was a perfect morning to be out playing in the leave and feeding the geese bread.

Birthday Pumpkin

Can you guess how old this little pumpkin is going to be? Here is a hint, either count the pumpkin or check out the fingers. His mommy started having his picture taken with the amount of pumpkins that match his age. What a fun idea. I would need a truck load of pumpkins for my age.

We were at Loose Park doing family photos for Nicole's family and just included the Birthday Pumpkin Photo too.

Happy 5th birthday Davis!

Oops Pumpkins gone bad!
Proud to be 5!

Don't drop that pumpkin!

The serious 5 year old pose.

Happy Birthday.

Christmas Is Coming!

Christmas is coming! Can you believe that we are already into October? I do not know where the year has gone. Below are a few Christmas Card samples that I have created and they are posted on our website. If you are interested in ordering, please feel free to e-mail me or Rachel with the name of the template. We are still working out the pricing on them and I am also working on a few other templates too, so check back here or on the web. Hopefully there is a style that you like and you too can start planning for the Holidays.

Happy Holidays!

The Many Faces of "Family"

There are so many faces that form up a family. Rachel and I had the pleasure of photographing several family on Saturday at Loose Park. Here are some photos of the families that photographed. As you could tell, I had a hard time narrowing it down, so sit back and enjoy the many faces of "family."
(Sorry that I was not able to group all of one family together. I am sure it is just me not understanding the upload process to this blog.)

Family Fun!

Saturday, Rachel and I spent our morning at Loose Park taking photos of several fun families. The Building Better Mom's group had a picnic in the park on Saturday and asked if we would come and take family photos. In three hours we did approximately 18 families. We were busy but boy did we meet some wonderful famlies. Check back soon for some sneak peeks of my day.

The Chase

Monday morning bright and early, I met little Mr. Chase. How quickly I had forgotten just how fast an 18 month old can be. "Chase" was the word of the day. I chased, Chase around but I think it paid off. I got some very cute photos of Chase and his mom and dad. I almost forgot...and the dog. We had a lot of fun by the lake and on the bridge and then ended the fun at the playground. I got to climb on the equipment too, so that I could get some action shots. Thanks Brent and Heidi for letting me photograph your little guy.

The Arboretum

Sunday morning at the Overland Park Arboretum is just beautiful. I got there early before Tammy and her family arrived and had time to walk around and look at all the wonderful sites. I was able to scope out some good spots for family pictures. Tammy and Mark have three wonderful girls that provided lots of fun. Having not been to the Arboretum before we had to go exploring like "Dora the Explorer." I had a wonderful map reader and a little friend that took my hand so I would not get lost. After the Arboretum we went back to their house to get some fun pictures of the girls in their very cool playhouse. Mark will you build me one like that too? Thanks Mark and Tammy for letting me spend the morning with you.
